Silulo Ulutho Business Incubation launched

Silulo Ulutho Technologies on Saturday 13th April 2018 launched its business incubation, Silulo Business Incubation (SBI) at the Watergate Mall, Mitchel’s Plain, a suburb in Cape Town .Different entrepreneurs attended the event that included talks on entrepreneurship and business mentorship.

SBI has been formed with an objective of providing a platform for young and prospective entrepreneurs to actualize their business ideas and has been set up to provide office space, equipment, mentorship, training, networking and marketing services to start-ups.

Vodacom Managing Executive for SMME and Indirect Channel, Ismail Gani, said in a statement: “Our partnership with Silulo is one of several initiatives to empower and grow small businesses. The drive towards the ‘Digital SMME’ is a key initiative of Vodacom. PURPOSE OF THE JOB : The incumbent will take the role of managing the Training schedule, preparing and conducting lessons and providing assessments

Course: Office Administration

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS : Cluster unit standards learning material into applicable learning programmes  Manage the administration of learner program  Report on all necessary SETA expectations  Facilitate the theoretical and practical components of both End User and Office Admin Course  Asses all learners registered for End User and Office Admin course, complying with all assessment policies and practices  Keep records of attendance and send to the Training Academy Director  Prepare prior to each classto ensure knowledge of relevant unit standards and course material

At the forefront of the change towards entrepreneurial freedom is “Silulo Incubation Centre”, it is an exciting new concept in Cape Town suburbs and townships  offering a shared working space for entrepreneurs – allowing them to grow and flourish in a healthy professional environment with likeminded people around them. The incubator removes the need to commit to massive monthly requirements while allowing them scale up based on their needs.

The incubator offers 18 entrepreneurs the opportunity to rent space in the shared co-working space at the Watergate Mall, Mitchells Plain, Cape Town. Selected entrepreneurs will have access to the following; a dedicated receptionist – a desk in the share space – office chair and lockable drawers – wifi access – ability to book and rent out the meeting rooms/boardrooms available on site – invitation to network and training events.
